Who's Story Is It?

I love me some foster parenting blogs.  It is like peeking into our future of the ups and downs and twists and turns.  And it is a great peak into the future of this blog when I'm no longer a foster-parent-to-be and am a real deal foster parent.

Will I have tons of cute kiddie pictures?

Will I share our child(ren)'s story?

Will I vent about obstacles they encouter?

Will I brag about the success they have?

No.  No.  No.  And no.

Sorry!  This blog isn't the place for me to share their story.  If, when and where their story is told will be a decision they get to make.  This is where I get to share my story.  Of becoming a foster mother.  Of becoming a mom.  Of learning to get everyone (baby, dog and parents) fed without going crazy or serving everyone the same meal.  Of learning to survive a day full of meetings without any sleep.  Of learning to parent.

This might be why the below quote is my favorite part of this post.

"I am sure a lot of you are wondering what the hell happened and I am not going to tell you. It is part of Blitzen’s story, maybe she’ll tell you sometime."

Even though there is nothing cuter than baby pictures, be prepared for a few of these type of quotes in the future.
