#25 New Recipes
I tried my first new recipe of the New Year! I was attempting to make Shrimp and Grits. However in an attempt to make it a bit more healthier, there were a few adjustments (polenta for grits, bacon for tasso ham, milk for cream, and cajun seasoning for creole seasoning) and a few additions (mushrooms, onion, scallions, cheese). Okay, more than a few. Needless to say it didn't come out as expected. But surprisingly it did taste pretty good. Here's a picture!
Normally I'd post the recipe here, but I think it is best to wait until all of the adjustments are figured out! :)
