Friday Night Plans

As I mentioned previously, my brothers+girlfriend are coming into town today! Woohoo! I'm so excited to hang out with them since it is so rare that we are all together. I have invited some of our friends/neighbors to join us for dinner and drinks at our house, so it should be a great time!

I should also confess that I am super excited for the food tonight! We are making lasagna, salad, and garlic bread for dinner. I should mention that it isn't any lasagna, but The Best Lasagna. Ever. Seriously! That's the real name! It is the Pioneer Woman's recipe that you can find here. My favorite part is that it has hot sausage in it, which is one of my brothers' favorite things! So I hope they think it is the best lasagna ever. Or at least second best since my momma can make some mean lasagna. Doesn't this picture look so yummy?


My awesome friends are bring appetizers and desserts, which will be super yummy as usual. I am so lucky to have amazing friends who are also incredible cooks!

I am also known for having a house drink at parties. It just something fun that gives people a different option besides the typical beer and wine. So I'm making my favorite punch tonight- can't wait! I got this recipe many years ago from Rachael Ray. I know she's kinda annoying and talks like a man, but she knows how to make a delicious, yet very strong drink! Just the way I like it!
